St George’s Day

For St. George’s day, we want to make a video montage of young people, leaders and volunteers across the district making their promise. Leaders please forward on to your young people and be sure to e-mail your promise videos too, all clips to be received by the 22nd of April Please!

Get your uniform on (or just your scarf) and make a video of yourself making your Promise.Your video may be included in a montage of people all over Croydon making their promises.This will be shared on public social media (Twitter, Instagram & Facebook).

Please make your videos in landscape and, if you can, please change the name of your video to your name, so we know who you are. Please speak clearly and slowly when making your promise.

Ensure we have parental permission to use any video footage and email to:- promise@croydonscouting.org.uk

 

Make your video your renewal of promise by 22 April.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
