The main building is made up of a number of interlinked facilities.
Surrounded by plenty of grassland to the rear of the building.
The main hall measures approximately 10m x 7.5m. It has a tiled floor, wood burning stove, electric wall heaters (served by prepay £1 coin meters) and a 55inch flat screen monitor for presentations.
It can seat between 50/60 people for meetings.
When using the fold out dining tables it can seat up to 50.
The camp office and a smaller meeting room are adjacent to the main hall.
This smaller meeting room which is off to the side of the main hall.
Also doubles up as an adult-only sleeping quarters with 6 fold-down bunk beds and curtains to divide in a 4/2 split to accommodate separate genders.
The kitchen is equipped with a both gas and electric industrial cookers/ovens, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
It is fully equipped with utensils, pots & pans, crockery and cutlery for at least 50. There are also extra fridge and freezer facilities for hall and campsite users situated in the corridor.
The building also contains a dormitory block with 8 bunk rooms that sleep 30 in total in rooms of either 2, 6 or 8. All rooms have waterproof mattresses. Hirers will need to provide sheets (if desired), sleeping bags and pillows.
Each room is fitted with a wall heater (served by prepay £1 coin meter). Off the corridor leading between the main hall & kitchen and the dormitory block are male and female toilets, showers and disabled/leader facilities. (all showers are served by prepay £1 coin meters)

 

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
